If you're looking for the best hotdog in the Barossa Valley, then Tanunda Chickens is the place to go.

There is the traditional hotdog with the lot or choose between either of their specialty hotdogs. Known as the tropical hotdog, along with the sausage and the bun there is ham, pineapple and barbecue sauce. The other is known as a chilli dog, which along with the sausage and bun has bacon, onion, sour cream and sweet chilli sauce.

For those who don't like hotdogs there are plenty of other takeaway options to chose from such as fish and chips, burgers and schnitzel packs. Tanunda Chickens is open all throughout the day offereing lunch and tea takeaway meals. The inside of the shop was recently renovated and when new owners took over, they combined their previous store 'Bean Sejuiced' to offer customers a range of freshly made juices, salads, wraps, foccacias and baked potatoes. Limited inside seating is available and there is an outside courtyard if patrons wish to dine in.
