An underground gem from down under
Tantanoola Caves conservation park is located 29kms away from Mount Gambier, in the middle of a pine forest. The site is small but very well maintained. Application fees are applied to access the cave and a really friendly guide will take you down there. You will hear a bit a the story, how the cave has been discovered and why the place is so particular.

A very decorated caves of South Australia.

The cave is small - do not expect a huge place - but exceptionally decorated. The stalactites have so many different shapes and offer an impressive natural decor. It gives a unique outlook. You will also be left alone by the guide and could explore the underground gallery yourself as much as you want.
