I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.

A New Place In The City
Find the Tank Stream Hotel on Pitt Street opposite the Radisson Blu and not far from Australia Square. It is a great place to stay for sightseeing, shopping or business in the CBD of Sydney.
The 15 storey hotel opened in 2015 and has stylish and contemporary furnishings. It is built above the historic Tank Stream and is well situated minutes from Wynyard Station, Martin Place and a short walk to Circular Quay.
The 280 rooms vary in size and price, the most economical are the internal rooms which face a light-filled atrium. They are compact but well designed and the bathroom space is generous. The hotel has an all-inclusive rate that provides complimentary Wi-Fi, in-house movies, non-alcoholic mini bar and a Pod coffee machine.
The only window in our room overlooked the atrium and we kept the curtain closed as it did not feel very private, this was not a major problem as we did not spend a lot of time in the room. There is a French/Japanese bistro 'Le Petit Flot' in the hotel as well as a bar/cafe. Breakfast is offered for a reduced rate at check in, but there are many cafes nearby.
There is a very warm welcome at check in and they offered to look after our bags for the day when we were leaving. There were plenty of tourists in the hotel making the most of its position close to the 'VIVID' action.
