I did my first drawing class years ago and although I didn't think I was ever really good at drawing, I enjoyed the peaceful act of just letting my mind wander and not be cluttered with my chaotic everyday life. It was great to be engrossed in something that was relaxing and enjoyable.
I took another class a few months ago, a simple colour class, and met another artist, Tania Tuna, who I thought was talented and so joined her own class this month.
I think that some people have the patience and the knack to be good teachers and Tania was certainly one of those. She taught her class in an easy to understand way and gave us notes to take home, which I have to say is a first in classes I have taken. I like the fact that she included an art book in the class fee for us to practice in and learn and enjoy what I believe is my brain yoga, and class it as a mindful and meditating pastime.
And although I never really had the confidence to draw and to show others my drawings, Tania showed me ways to draw and to not be embarrassed by using different techniques and tools for drawing.
I enjoyed this class so much that I have now booked in for the painting class, as I saw one of the paintings she was teaching in her workshop and fell in love with it straight away.
So if you have ever wanted to learn to draw or to paint, then try Tania Tuna Art classes and you will not be disappointed. Tania teaches with passion and enthusiasm, which makes her classes well worth the fee, as she includes more than you would expect for the price.
