Are you passionate about dancing? Then try out what many regard as the "most passionate dance in the world": Argentinean Tango.

Polish your dance shoes and head out to West End next Friday night. The Latin Dance Academy Rio Rhythmics in 165 Boundary Street hosts tango nights that start off with an introductory class at 8.30pm.

A professional dance instructor will teach you the basic steps and moves which are really easy to remember. And don't worry if you are single or if your better half has two left feet because there is no need to bring a partner. People get "rotated" around the dance floor so that everybody has a chance to practise their first steps with different people.

Afterwards, at about 9.15pm, it is time for social dancing. Those who feel confident enough to hit the dance floor can keep practising with more advanced tango dancers.

Or you might decide to just kick back and watch some couples perform those spectacular tango moves on the dance floor. And if you keep practicing, one day you might be just as good as them. As long as you are really passionate about it.
