With a wide range different accommodation styles to suit any budget and over 80 tours and activities on offer, some of which are free, Tangalooma Island Resort on Moreton Island is a great destination for a family holiday. Everyday will be a new adventure on this 'natural theme park'; there truly is so much to see and do on Tangalooma Island.

Your holiday begins when you board the passenger ferry service, which departs Holt Street Wharf in Pinkenba, Brisbane and arrives at Tangalooma Jetty on Moreton Island, in just over an hour (75 minutes). This service runs throughout the morning and afternoon, so you can visit Tangalooma Island for a short day trip, a weekend escape or perhaps even a week or two.

Have been here, stayed for a week and loved the place! However, it turned out to be a very expensive trip. Take food with you because buying food on the island costs a fortune!
