Get back to nature at Tanawha Animal Farm!
After Christmas and New Year celebrations, the next
BIG occasions on most calendars are birthdays. Personally, I always feel birthdays are more important than Christmas, as a birthday is the
one day of the year that you can call your own - not like Christmas where we literally share the day with everybody else on the planet. And, of course, Christmas is actually
the birthday celebration for another
Very Important Person.

Once you spot the stunning murals at the entrance to Tanawha Animal Farm, you will know you have arrived!
With birthdays on my mind, I was invited to visit
Tanawha Animal Farm to enjoy a complete farm experience with petting zoo, ducks, goats, piglets, guinea pigs, chickens, donkeys, alpacas and so much more. Tanawha Animal Farm is rapidly becoming a firm favourite with many Sunshine Coast families for functions and birthday parties, and it's increased popularity can definitely be attributed to the numbers of parents looking for authentic outdoor experiences for their children to participate in.

Enjoy a close one-on-one with some seriously cute farm animals!
Besides, there's not much than can compare with being outdoors, enjoying Mother Nature and having a close one-on-one interaction with some awesomely cute farm animals.

"It's an opportunity for kids to get their hands dirty whilst connecting with nature and animals. I think there is something soothing to all humans when we slow down, break away from technology and enjoy the simple things in life. We see this with seven children of our own" farm owner, Kev Jones said.

Super heroes were present at Tanawha Animal Farm to entertain foster families from the Sunny Coast
On the day we visited,
Tanawha Animal Farm were hosting foster families from across the Sunshine Coast. The Jones family have a lot of admiration for the dedication of foster parents and their desire to help foster children thrive, making a difference in young individuals' lives. As Kev from
Tanawha Animal Farm says, who better to entertain foster families than some real-life Super Heroes. Don't forget Superman
aka Clarke Kent was actually a foster child himself.

There's plenty of room for a jumping castle too!
Super Nova was the theme for this big event and with nine costumed Super Heroes, a jumping castle, some Alpaca shearing, balloon modelling and a sausage sizzle,
Tanawha Animal Farm were assured of putting smiles on many faces. Providing the usage of
Tanawha Animal Farm for a Super Hero themed celebration, was
Tanawha Animal Farm's way of saying '
thank you' to those foster families who are doing such a superb heroic job in our local community.
