Best Pho in Brissy
Inala has come a long way from its bad/scary reputation and has turned more into a mini Sunnybank Market Square. In the civic centre of Inala you will find a number of Asian grocery shops, butchers and restaurants. I make a point to come here at least once a fortnight with my hubby to grab cheap veggies, meat and Asian groceries. After walking around the shops for a couple of hours and getting all my goodies, my exhausted hubby and I stop by Tan Thanhs for a bite to eat before heading home.
Just writing about this little restaurant makes my mouth water because the flavours of their dishes are just amazing and makes them one of the best and cheapest Vietnamese restaurants in Brisbane.
The lighting is pretty garish and the décor lacks imagination (to say the least) but you will be treated to the best Pho (Vietnamese Noodle Soup) in Brisbane not to mention rice paper rolls, broken rice dishes, yummy drinks...need I go on? And although the service lacks some enthusiasm, the great thing about this place is that you get seated and served very quickly.
This is a great little place to visit if you're in the area and if you're not, make the trip, explore the shops and end it with a tasty dish from Tan Thanhs.
