'Tammy' is a 2014 comedy staring Melissa McCarthy and Susan Sarandon. When Tammy (McCarthy) loses her job after turning up to work late because of a car accident, she heads home to find her husband and neighbour a little too close.

Tammy decides she's had enough and is ready to get out of town, but without her own car, she is convinced into taking her diabetes suffering alcoholic grandmother on a road trip.

Directed by Ben Falcone and written by Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone. During the road trip they face a few hurdles before reaching their destination including a trip to gaol, a crazy 4th of July party, and a broken jet ski.

They meet some strange characters along the way, get there in the end. It's a funny story and shows McCarthy at her best. Well worth the watch.
