The Melbourne Shakespeare Company are hosting from 7-22 December 2019 at The Rose Garden, St Kilda Botanical Gardens, 11 Herbert St, St Kilda. Performance times are from 7pm to 8.30pm on weekdays, with a 2nd extra show on weekends from 2pm to 3.30pm. There are no shows on the Mondays. Get your tickets here . Tickets are $30 Adults, $25 students and pensioners and $20 for children aged 4-15 years.

Shakespeare has gone IMPROV. Each night, you the audience decides who plays the Shrew and who plays the Tame. This makes way for circumstances where anything can happen. Audience involvement lays the ground for a night of hilarity in a wild night of theatre packed with comedy, live music and as much adventure as you can handle in a fast-paced 90-minute event. It's the kind of theatre, unlike anything you've seen before. Head to the event page for updates and to preview the cast you'll be putting to work.

features choreography from John Reed (West Side Story) and musical accompaniment by Paul Morris (Wind in the Willows) and incorporates hits from the likes of Sinatra, Cher and even Australian Crawl. Packed with local references it's going to be a rollercoaster ride of language, love, and laughter that you won't forget. The costumes by Rhiannon Irving (The Australian Ballet) are to be marvelled at, along with set by Hayley James (Beauty and the Beast) made entirely from recycled materials.

One of the most exciting projects yet, it's not to be missed. The cast is pushed to the limits, having to rehearse multiple versions of the production, not knowing who will go on until the start of the show. You can just imagine how nerve-racking that must be for them. This is a family-friendly production and you're encouraged to bring a picnic to enjoy while being entertained watching the show. Seating is provided at the venue and don't forget to bring your protective sunwear for the matinee performances. Opening night is on Tuesday 10 December and the event runs for 90 mins with no interval.
