Tamarama is also known as glamarama for the beautiful people that frequent this tiny beach nestled in between Bronte and Mackenzies bay.

Take a 360 degree virtual tour here.

The surfing is narley, it's a popular surf break yet if swimming watch the strong rips as it is one of Sydney's most dangerous beaches.

In saying that the beach inspectors and friendly life savers do a great job as Tamarama Surf Life Saving Club is famous for being one of the only clubs that has never lost a life.

The over 100 year old SLSC club also houses yoga, pilates and Taekwondo classes to get in shape for beach season.

Tama is a great spot for sun baking and also offers rock caves and shelters in the park if looking for shade and a strategic location for checking out the local talent.

For fitness fanatics the beach path is on the Bondi to Bronte coastal walk with a challenging set of stairs below the surf club to get the heart rate pumping or you can by pass the steep stairs and prance along the flat footpath outlining Tama park.

The park provides a great barbeque spot with picnic table huts and coin operated barbecues with water views.

If you haven't prepared and need to refuel Tamarama Beach cafe has an upmarket kiosk feel that offers healthy options and hearty meals that allow you to soak up the beach lifestyle.

If you cross Pacific road and head west up to Tama Gully you will find a green park with rainforest like rock caves, trees and a scenic waterfall with plenty of steep stairs to test your stamina on.

The natural beauty of Tamarama beach and coastal walk provides a stunning backdrop for the annual Sculpture by the Sea exhibition.
