Have a break from cooking while supporting local businesses
Tired of cooking meals at home? Are you craving Asian food for lunch? QV still has many shops open for takeaway food.
The one-stop place where you can satisfy the entire family's cravings. Choose from super lunch deals from Old Man Poh, made to order noodles and curries from Thailander, in a hurry ready to go Chinese, and my favourite Japanese flavours from Fusion Sushi, to name a few. All have extensive menus and can make your order in 5-10 minutes. Do check the websites for modified opening hours during the lockdown, as well as delivery options.
My recommendation, the Unagi Don (eel with rice) from Fusion Sushi. This comes as a large bowl of Japanese rice, covered with an omelette folded with carrots, onions and peas, and topped with a generous thick portion of grilled unagi marinated in a light sweet sauce and sprinkled with sesame seeds and spring onion. Pickled radish and broccoli complete the meal. Nutritious and delicious!
