Did you know that simple lifestyle changes can significantly reduce the risk of dementia? Just like caring for your body, nurturing your brain health can lead to a stronger and sharper mind.
Would you like to join in an exciting new research project called 'Small Steps' that can help you make changes in sleep and physical activity that will benefit your brain?
What will I be asked to do?
Join the program for 12 weeks (2 in-person sessions) and come to 3 follow-up sessions.
Be an active research partner by talking with research staff and using a tailored website to make small incremental changes to your activity or sleep habits.
Be open to new ideas as the researchers may suggest changes for your individual needs, preferences, constraints, and lifestyle.
Am I eligible? You may be eligible if you:
Are aged 65 years and above.
Reside in the Marion, Onkaparinga, Victor Harbor or Yankalilla council areas.
Have access to and are comfortable using technology like smartphones, tablets, or computers with regular internet connectivity.
