Take Cover: Jon Gray on Book Design at the Wheeler Centre

Celebrated London-based book designer Jon Gray is coming to Melbourne's Wheeler Centre on Monday September 12 at 7.30pm. One of the co-founders of the Academy of British Cover Design, Gray has designed book jackets for some of the biggest names in literature, including Jonathan Safran Froer, Zadie Smith, David Foster-Wallace and Roald Dahl. Aside from his book design work, Gray has worked on marketing campaigns from some of the world's biggest brands, including Nike and The New York Times.

In conversation with W.H. Chong (designer of the unforgettable cover of The Rosie Project by RMIT's very own Graeme Simsion), the pair will discuss the art and artistry of great cover design.
