Event:
The adventure of a lifetime

Take a Walk Adventures invites you to enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience - 'Fall in New England' in 2020! Bookings are now open for this exclusive experience and you can even add Polar Bears in Churchill, Canada!

New England's autumn colours are the most brilliant in the whole USA. Every year, travellers flock to Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont to witness the gold, scarlet, purple and orange that sweeps over hills and blazes through valleys. We're fortunate to walk along the paths and just live it - it's enough to turn an experienced walker into an avid leaf-peeper. The air is crisp and cool, just perfect for hiking. An added bonus is the white farmhouses with stands of crunchy apples and orange pumpkins piled high; russet-red barns; steepled churches and village greens. Highlights include Gulf Hagas Loop, Indian Mountain, Lauries Ledge Trail, Shaw Mountain, White Cap Mountain, The Moosehead Pinnacle Pursuit and many more. View the itinerary here.

And when the trip is finished, you can join the optional excursion to Churchill, Canada to come face to face with the world's largest carnivore the mighty Polar Bear. Every year, the polar bears gather at Churchill waiting for the ice to freeze over so they can hunt seals, and we'll be there to see them. View the literary here.

If you are interested in joining the 'Fall in New England' tour, register to attend 'Take A Walk Adventures' FREE Information Evening on 1 August 2019.

Held from 6.30pm, this special event will see Take a Walk Adventures owners, the friendly John and Lyn, go over the gear you will need, fitness levels required, costs, and of course, how to go about it! Nibbles, tea and coffee will be provided from 6.00pm.

All overseas adventures include the cost of local guides, most accommodation and meals, various transport inclusions and there will always be an Aussie Take A Walk leader on the ground, so you'll never be alone.
