Rundle Street is fast becoming the fashion destination of Adelaide. With local and International brands and designers flocking to the street, this is the place to head if you're the stylish type. So while the food is great, and the drinks flow through the day, this is your guide to the more stylish side of things as you take a fashionable walk down Rundle Street.

Stroll & Shop

Saba, Gorman, and Sass & Bide are all some very fashionable Aussies who have set up shop down Rundle Street. They join old favourites of Sookie, Naked, and Miss Gladys Sym Choon to make sure that Adelaide is putting its best foot forward. Whether you're looking for a party frock, next season swimwear, or a swanky suit, Rundle Street has got it all.

An iconic fashion brand that produces stunning clothes, and stylish swimwear. To make sure you're the best dressed thing by the pool in Summer you'll probably want to check out some of Zimmerman's popular swimwear. These guys like bold patterns and interesting cuts. While you can find their clothes down the road in David Jones, it is far more fun to flick through the racks in their very own store.

When this brand moved to South Australia, Rundle Street was the obvious location for their stand alone store. American Apparel have a huge range of gear. Some of the clothes may appear to be the stuff of 80s inspired nightmares, but amongst it all they have some fantastic basic wardrobe additions. Make the most of your money when you buy three items of the same style, and save 15%.

For anyone who has a bit of a preppy bone in their body, Seed is the store for you. These outfits will see you looking classy while you sit aboard your yacht, or even just when you pick the kids up from kindy. Seed have got a great range of accessories like bags, hats, and shoes, to help compliment any outfit.

For the most stylish men's clothes on the street, and in the city, head to Real Store. They stock Australian and international brands. The clothes at high quality street style. You can also get a range of watches at Real Store, including some very fashionable choices.

Alannah Hill
Alannah Hill was involved in a bit of controversy in late 2010, but this scandal doesn't stop her clothes from being completely adorable. The store opened in 2011, and its pink interior is very telling of the vintage inspired clothes that it sells. Even if you don't plan on buying a thing, make sure you visit the store just to experience its luxury and decadence.

So whether you are clothes shopping, or window shopping, make sure that Rundle Street is your top destination. This is a great street to just take a walk down and enjoy all of the sites. There are loads of cafes and restaurants to keep you nourished while you shop up a storm.
