Splash into Spring at the Adelaide Aquatic Centre
The Adelaide Aquatic Centre is celebrating the beginning of Spring with a Family Fun Day on Monday 30th September, 2013.

Running from 11am to 4pm, this 'Family Fun Day', which is dubbed 'Take a Breather', comes just in time for the Spring school holidays and is a special one day event which allows families to enjoy a fun-filled program of water safety activities.

Adelaide Aquatic Centre is the first Asthma friendly venue in Australia and part of the proceeds from the day will be donated to Asthma SA.

One of the highlights of the 'Take a Breather' Family Fun Day event will be the chance to try the new 7.5 Thrill & Spill inflatable slide (pictured above). Plus there is also the Imagination Playground - where children are encouraged to build new worlds with building blocks made of lightweight foam (pictured below).

There will also be a range of activities and entertainment on offer, including face painting, a bouncy castle, story-telling and pool games for children, while teenagers and adults can find out more about the other fitness facilities, classes and promotions currently available - including the $99 'Spring Starter' 6 week membership deal.

Families can also win great prizes and goodies throughout the day. If you have yet to visit the revamped Adelaide Aquatic Centre, take this opportunity to discover the new additions to this popular leisure centre - such as the upgraded Fitness Centre facility, Swim Shop and roof panels which "are designed to bring the sunshine in."

The Adelaide Aquatic Centre is conveniently located in North Adelaide.
