Tai Chi (Taijiquan in Chinese) is a Chinese Martial Art that has been practised in China since the 16th Century. It is a gentle, tranquil and graceful way of keeping fit, improving your health, and helps to prevent the stresses and strains of modern living.

It is a low-impact exercise that uses gentle movement, focused breathing, and mental focus. It can be practised by people of all ages and promotes correct body posture & balance. Studies have shown that Tai Chi can help improve the immunity system, reduce anxiety, depression, blood pressure, and other psychological issues.

Tai Chi and Qigong have sequences of flowing movement coupled with changes in mental focus, breathing, coordination, and relaxation. The classes include Qigong breathing and meditation techniques; strength, flexibility, balance and coordination exercises; martial applications, forms and in time, weaponry.
