One of the food outlets at District Outlet Centre’s food court at Parafield,
Taco Train is where you can enjoy tasty Mexican cuisine.
When ordering their dishes, diners can choose Adobo Chicken, Spicy Pulled Beef, Pulled Pork or Vegetarian Bean Mix as the filling. Their Tacos allow diners to pick different fillings for each, allowing for variety. The Adobo Chicken, Spicy Pulled Beef and Pulled Pork that we picked were all juicy. The Adobo Chicken and Pulled Pork had a delectable smoky taste. Their Spicy Beef had a fair amount of heat but is still suitable for most tastes.
The soft taco shells that we chose were light and fluffy and not hard to bite into. For the sauce, we chose Chipotle Aioli, Garlic Aioli and Lime Cilantro. The Lime Cilantro had a delightful tangy taste and the creamy flavour of the Garlic Aioli made it a good foil for their spicy fillings. The Chipotle Aioli had a smoky flavour and a degree of spiciness that is suitable for those not used to spicy foods. We were able to have the cheese served on the side.

Their Belgian Chocolate Filled Waffles were crisp and light with a good golden-brown colour. While not apparent from the dish’s name, dark chocolate was used for the filling, which did not make the waffles taste too sweet.

The food court where the outlet is located offers a good amount of seating space for diners. On Mondays, a deal is available offering three Tacos along with a drink for just $10.
