Sri Thanu on the beautiful island of Ko Phangan has an array of tasty restaurants catering for all sorts of tastes, particularly if you happen to be vegetarian.

Taboon offers Middle Eastern delights from 7AM to 11PM, so you can join for a big Israeli breakfast consisting of perfectly baked pitta, a selection of scrumptious dips, a tropical fruit plate, freshly brewed coffee and green salad made with organic leaves.
You can also get good porridge and muesli, as well as egg dishes.

They have several types of shakshuka, a dish served in a heavy skillet with tomatoes and eggs poached within. You can try shakshuka for a real feast containing eggplant and potato.

The green salad leaves seem so fresh because they are! Sourced from the Ko Phangan Seed to Feed restaurant, where they grow all their own organic greens.

Try the Iraqi Sambusak, a stuffed pastry that comes with salad to stuff it with further, like a burrito.

They make all their own bread and have just introduced a Gluten Free Buckwheat Pitta for those that have trouble with gluten.

They have a Boutique selling clothes from local designers or imported from far off places. They have jewellery, sunglasses and many other goodies in there.

One of their signature drinks is the Coriander crush, made from fresh coriander leaves, ginger and soda water - it's a refreshing way to rehydrate from the heat.

They offer a range of teas including nice black tea, a bit better than the standard Lipton offering and also infusions such as the fresh Turmeric and ginger which packs a punch.
