T2 Tea

Tea, glorious tea. The fragrant and luxurious beverage that can both ease suffering and connect old friends, and is also the perfect accompaniment to a lazy Sunday afternoon of reading trashy Mills and Boon novels. Trawling through the streets of Perth I encountered the most aromatic shops I have ever smelt.

T2 on Hay Street was close to closing when I walked through the doors. "I'd like your finest brew!," I shouted. And that was it. I was taken on a magical journey through the world of tea. I smelt the samples but ultimately I settled on Melbourne breakfast (full bodied with a hint of vanilla) and Choc Chip Chai (sweet and spicy).

Choc Chip Chai- $12.75

I couldn't leave without a new tea cup. I trawled through the wide selection they have and ultimately settled on a pink cheetah print cup with a lovely, gold handle. I spent $40 on tea, and I have never been happier in my life.

Cheetah Print Tea Cup- $16

It's not cheap to shop there but it that is no reason not to indulge in these earthly delights.
