Patrick Jane would love this shop
I must've worked my way through at least fifty varieties of tea in my time. Whether out of curiosity or simply because you actually love the taste of the stuff, tea has the ability to keep you wanting more. If this applies to you, you might want to check out T2. The Melbourne Central shop is big and beautiful, and the service friendly. You can take your time exploring the various tea types from all over the world as far as China, India, and Turkey.

T2 is the one-stop-shop for all things tea. They have a mindboggling range of tea from all over the world—names you may not even have heard of. Black tea, green tea, white tea, oolong tea to a variety of tisane or herbal and spice infusions that each bestow some beneficial effect or the other on the drinker. Fruit tisanes such as the Orange Box, Botanica, Fruit Blush, Fruitalicious, and the Citrus Punch are definite mood enhancers.

The only problem is the enormous range you may have to browse through before you find something that hits the right spot for you. This shop is the perfect place for those that like to get adventurous with their tea drinking and take the activity up a notch or give it a new flavour.

Of course, those that like to stick to conventional Earl Grey or classic English Breakfast tea or have just ventured to green tea and are comfortable there will find their teabags and packaged tea dust waiting for them. They also have chamomile, lemon grass & ginger, jasmine, peppermint, and other familiar types.

On the other hand, if you'd like to broaden your horizon where the world of tea is concerned just stroll around to Tea for me on the T2 site where you can actually find one to suit your taste and temperament by just clicking on statements that best describe your preferences. A few clicks and voila you have a choice of tea selections that you could explore.

What makes T2 such an aesthetic treat is the décor of the store, which in turn is made even livelier by the funky packaging of the product. Tea comes in snazzy tins, neat tetra packs, cute containers, and paper bags. Stacked in neat rows on floor to ceiling shelves, they make quite a visual impact that has you wanting to explore what the fuss is all about.

T2 sells tea paraphernalia along with all that world class tea. Which makes perfect sense, come to think about it. Having the perfect tea cup from which to drink your orange pekoe really does add to the experience. T2 has an astounding range of tea sets in a variety of colours, shapes, and sizes that will leave you in a tough spot when it comes to choosing from among them. They also make amazing gifts for people you really care about or want to impress.

Ooh, my partner bought me two of the three-tier canisters for a gift and - yummy! So many delicious smells and flavours in their tea. Melbourne Breakfast is my favourite :)
