Because tea solves everything
Sometimes I just like to wander and explore. That's what I decided to do Saturday. I purposely had a day set with "no plans", refusing to set anything for the day, even in my mind. So as I awoke Saturday I decided I would explore some new markets I had heard about. As I got there, I realised it was raining, I'd forgotten my umbrella with no car parks close by. I swiftly drove home and chose a new journey.
Determined to not let this ruin my day, I jumped on a train to embark on a new journey and found myself in Newtown. As I aimlessly wandered the streets like a child without a care in the world, I stumbled upon a speciality tea cafe: T Totaler.
I love tea so it didn't take much to draw me in, but the offer of a cold drip chai was one I couldn't refuse. As I walked in I noticed the cafe had a quirky and warm vibe, with friendly staff to match. It is almost like walking into a trendy science lab, with test tube tea samples strewn throughout the store. I ordered the cold drip chai which was paired with caramel popcorn. YUM!
T Totaler offers a range of speciality house blend teas (to dine in or takeaway) as well as a selection of juices and light meals. In addition to this, if you are after the full experience, you can attend a tea blending class or a matched tea and cake degustation.
If you think of yourself as a bit of a tea connoisseur, or just enjoy a nice cup of tea, this is definitely one to try. T Totaler offers a range of drinks to cater for any occasion. Whether you are looking for a warm pick me up, an immunity boost on the cold days, or a refreshing drink on a hot summers day, it is worth the trip to Newtown.
