One of the restaurants located along Henley Beach Road in Torrensville, T Thai Cuisine specialises in Thai cuisine. Complimentary prawn crackers were offered when we visited.

Their Larb Gai had enough minced chicken to make eating the dish satisfying. Roasted rice added a slight chewy texture to the dish and the accompanying cucumber, lettuce and grated carrots provided freshness. The dressing of the dish had a delightful lemongrass flavour. For those concerned about the spiciness it was not too hot.

The beef that we chose for the Pad Cha was not too chewy and the various vegetables retained their texture. There was enough sauce to ensure the dish was not dry, but be aware that the green peppercorns gave it a punchy spicy taste. During lunchtime, this dish can be ordered as a lunch special, which comes accompanied by a serving of rice.

The combination option for their stir-fry and noodle dishes consisted of beef, chicken, prawns and mussels. All of the ingredients in our Drunken Noodles were cooked just right and the mussels were easy to separate from their shells. While the sauce included chilli, the degree of spiciness is suitable for most tastes. Instead of flat rice noodles, Hokkien noodles were used.

Another of their noodle dishes, the Pad See Eew dish was done well with the flat rice noodles having a slightly charred taste. This is an indication of the dish having good wok hei, the “breath of the wok”. The beef that we chose was done as well as that in their Pad Cha and extra texture was provided by Chinese broccoli. Sweet soy sauce gave the dish a sweet-savoury flavour.

All the vegetables in the vegetarian option for their Ginger Stir-fry had a nice bite to them and chunks of tofu complemented them nicely. The ginger sauce that the ingredients were cooked in subtly enhanced their flavour. There was enough ginger to make the dish deserving of its name.

Coming as a serving of five wings, the marinate used for their Deep-fried Chicken Wings gave them a delectable flavour and the flesh was juicy. The wings were cooked sufficiently to give them a golden-brown colour and a nice crispiness to the exterior. In addition to a small serving of salad, the chicken wings came with Thai sweet chilli dipping sauce.

The decor of the restaurant gave it a casual feel. Off-street parking for customers is located at the back of the restaurant.
