Breathtaking coastal road trip that is a must do
Australia is a land that is dominated by expansive landscapes, hidden gems and unique experiences and what better way to explore, experience and discover this spectacular land that some of us call home by putting down the boarding pass and picking up a road map for the ultimate road trip!
Below are the details of this fantastic road trip experience:
1028km- 12 ½ hrs approx.
All sealed roads, highways and occasional dirt road for scenic stops. Suitable for all vehicles.
New South Wales' coast is filled with endless scenery and the drive from Sydney to Melbourne following the ocean will offer lashings of quaint coastal towns and villages including Kiama, Milton, Lake Entrance, Bermagui, Narooma, and Eden, National Parks galore, turquoise lagoons and breathtaking camping spots.
You will also take in Berry, Mollymook, South Durras and Lakes Entrance with plenty of hotspots to stop at along the way. You will also come across a strong Aboriginal presence in many parts too, as well as some of the best fishing spots, endless bird-watching and wildlife spotting opportunities.
