T Art Tea Shop/Gallery & Understory Art Walk



Whilst passing through this small timber town and stopping on the main street to talk to one of the local ladies, who was giving away plants in a local swap initiative where local could bring and swap items, she told me of a few attractions in the town.

I was lucky enough to attend the grand opening of a cafe and art gallery. The ladies were lovely, and the tea was varied, and I must say tasted lovely.

If you go through Northcliffe, do drop in and have a look at the gallery and stop for a tea if you are inclined to.

An art walk through the forest, called Understory, a walk that had many pieces of sculptured art from WA, was delightful. They used the entry fees to save to purchase more art. As an artist myself, I thought it was a wonderful way of supporting the local artists of WA. You can find details at the website www.understory.com.au. There were many wonderful pieces on this meandering and peaceful walk that was breathtaking. Well worth a visit.
