If you love a good Christmas tune, you'd be Christmas crackers to miss QSO's Symphonic Santa concert event at The Courier-Mail Piazza at South Bank. The littlest will love to groove and sing along to the tunes expertly played by the Queensland Symphony Orchestra in this appearance, which forms part of their Cushion Concert Series. Even the big man in the red suit will be there to thrill the kids into a pre-Christmas frenzy.

This much loved show for the whole family was a great hit last year, and is a lovely way to kick off the festive season, especially for the two to ten year old age group. The show will feature Conductor Peter Luff, who's known for engaging the kids with energy and humour while the equally funny host Vivienne Collier-Vickers will keep the show moving along. You can expect lots of audience interaction and chances for the kids to participate in the fun.

A rep for QSO says, "The young and young at heart will be treated to a musical journey that allows them to listen, dance, and enjoy a range of popular classics performed by the wonderful QSO musicians. Come along and sing along to the songs of Santa with all the traditional trimmings of fun and frivolity."

QSO will have a temporary box office set up at the Piazza gate closest to the path from Little Stanley street to the venue, which will be open an hour and a half prior to the show. If you want to sit close to the action, bring along some cushions so you can get comfy on the Piazza floor. Otherwise there's plenty of raked seating for those who need some back support when sitting. Don't worry about the rain dear, the Piazza is an all weater venue, easily accessible from nearby undercover parking.

So if you're thinking, "I'll be there with bells on," then jingle all the way to the QSO website, or give them a call to book your tickets today.
