Food and words.

Symons and Symons Reserve is a large plot of land with good facilities, it is a great spot for gatherings of family and friends. If you're wanting some fun things to do, or just a spot to relax, the reserve can be both.

You'll be able to have a picnic or a barbecue at the reserve. There is ample lawn for setting up a blanket and taking out the picnic basket, and there is also a barbecue and picnic tables for you to enjoy your food on. if you're thinking of bringing a large group to the reserve then you're still best bringing along some of your own chairs.

There is a basketball hoop on the reserve which means you can practice shooting hoops. While it is not a full court there is still a good amount of space, which means you would be able to still have a friendly game of basketball. There is also more paved space which would be great for a game of foursquare. The large grassy space is also a good spot for playing ball games or just having a kick of the footy. This is a great space for getting the kids interested in a range of sports in a friendly environment.

As well as having some good facilities this is also a nice place to picnic or just to relax. The grounds are well maintained and neat, and there are flowers and plants that make this a desirable place to go. There are a few benches in the park if you just want to take a seat and enjoy your surroundings.

While you wont find any play equipment at Symons and Symons Reserve it is still a well facilitated place where you can have some fun. Just make sure you're prepared and bring along any extras like balls or chairs that you may need.

If you're looking for any other parks or ovals in the area head to the Burnside City Council Website.
