Mon 11 Jan 2016 - Fri 22 Jan 2016

This program introduces young people to the symbolism, metaphors and codes embedded into the Shrine of Remembrance architecture, Galleries of Remembrance exhibitions and surrounding parklands.

Join one of our Volunteer Guides to view rising suns, medals of valour and the colours soldiers walked beneath. By carefully looking at and interpreting these symbols children will come to understand the Shrine in an entirely different way.

Program duration 55 minutes
Recommended for ages 7 to 13
All children must be accompanied by an adult carer.
Time: 10.15am and 1.15pm
Dates: Monday 11 January to Friday 22 January (including Saturday 16 January and Sunday 17 January)
Cost: FREE
Meeting point: Shrine of Remembrance Visitor Centre (Donation Box).
Bookings preferred. Walk-ins are welcome. Group sizes are limited.
