This year, October will be exploring time for all taste buds with the Crave Sydney International Food Festival which will kick off from its first day itself.


From the flavours of the Hawkesbury Farm to a hands on Lebanese cooking class, a Bush Tucker Tour and Lunch to a Beirut to Bangladesh food tour, the Festival is sure to make you take off for an international taste food discovery without leaving your doorstep.

For an authentic Aussie food discovery, you can head on a Bush Tucker Tour and Lunch which will lead you through a journey in the Royal Botanical Garden of Sydney, learning about the Aboriginal plant uses, artefacts and bush food tastes.

If not, how about discovering where the food in your plate comes from? A visit to the Moss Vale Farmers Market at the Showground and a Mushroom Tunnel Tour as well as the Regional Flavours and Hungry for South Coast NSW of Victor's Food will make you discover more than you could imagine.

Flavours of the Hawkesbury Harvest Farm Gate Trail will give you an opportunity to get fresh vegetables directly from the soil. Cannot be fresher than this, can they? Also included, an endless selection of tempting native Gourmet products at one of its stopovers and Lunch at Ebenezer, a historic sandstone winery, followed by a wine tasting hosted by vigneron Peter Auld.
