So much to see...so little time to see it all.

To be honest, until recently, I was never a big fan of going to clubs. I used to stay well clear of the many RSLs, Bowling, Community and Sporting Clubs until I discovered…the $6.00 mid week lunch. And I don't mean a ham sandwich on white bread cut into triangles. I'm talking a meal. Roast of the Day, Fish and Chips, Pasta, Pizza.

Forget the noisy, horrible, crowded food courts with six levels of parking to navigate. At most clubs, you can enjoy the relative quiet (apart from the musical tones emanating from gaming machines), air conditioned comfort, no parking hassles and real food served on real china with cutlery made from stainless steel, not plastic.

You'll probably have to head to the 'burbs' to catch these lunch specials. At Merrylands Bowling Club, visit the Freshway Café for their Roast of the Day consisting of Roast Pork, Baked Potatoes, Pumpkin, Peas with Gravy. Yum.

The newly renovated Cabramatta Bowling Club has a great new lunch menu with their $6.00 Fish and Chips and Salad a stand out.

Way out west at Wallacia Panthers Golf Club, you can snaffle their mid week Chef's specials including downing a Half Chicken Schnitzel, Chips and Salad for just $6.00, all while breathing the fresh country air and enjoying the views of the scenic golf course.

Canley Heights RSL have just introduced their Monday to Wednesday Pizza deal which will cost you, yep, $6.00.

And you don't have to be a member to enjoy these prices.

So do you have a favourite local club that can better these deals?
