It is hard to find someone who doesn't like magazines. Whether they publish poems, recipes, or good looking girls, often you'll be able to find one to suit anyone. Despite their huge popularity sometimes it can be hard to find the magazine you're looking for, so we've decided to try and track down Sydney's best magazine store. From newsagencies, to bookstores, to dedicated magazine sellers, we want to hear about them all. So join us in the comments and let us know where you fulfil your magazine habit.

Melbourne have been ever so kind to Sydney and sent their top magazine store Mag Nation to King Street, Newton. Mag Nation are a great place to go to discover a new read, or find old favourites. The staff will be able to recommend a great magazine based on your taste, and they stock everything from local mags to obscure international imports. It doesn't matter if you're interested in fashion, architecture, or knitting, Mag Nation's range is so big you're likely to find something you like.

If you're into art, architecture, fashion, or design, then a great place to check out is Published Art. They stock a lot of books, but they also have a huge range of Magazines that line their shelves. Published Art import a lot of magazines, to make sure that you've always got access to all of the international prints, and they have air freight shipments to get them to you quickly. Whether you're into things that look pretty, or just structurally sound buildings, there are some great magazines to browse through and buy.

Of course you don't have to find dedicated magazine stores to keep your magazine stocks high. There are plenty of bookstores and newsagencies that stock a whole manner of magazines. If you're looking for an interesting range then why not check out Kinokuniya or Ariel Books, we're sure you know some other great bookstores with good magazine collections. Then there are the newsagencies, we're not after the ones that only care about celebrity baby bodies, we want you to name the newsagencies that have a great stock of magazines, and are always ensuring you have an interesting read.

Join in the discussion and let us know where you buy your favourite magazines. While you're at it why not tell us which ones you love to read, you never know when we'll need a new magazine to try.

It's not in Sydney, but there is a newsagency at Erina Fair on the Central Coast opposite Coles that sells Wet Ink and a few other writing magazines, as well as many others - it does not just sell the tabloidish type ones or extremely popular ones, it seems to attempt to cover a variety of interests and bases, and even sells some newspapers in other languages. I tend to get some of my magazines there but others I have to order online from the website if I want to investigate them before submitting.

Mag nation in Newtown has now closed down but a bit further down King St is the Newtown news agency which is very well stocked with lots of great magazines...especially art and fashion.
