Comic book stores are full of a lot more than just comics, you'll find graphic novels, encyclopaedias, annuals, figurines, DVDs, busts, dolls, and more. Whatever you like to browse or buy there is no denying that most comic book fans with have one, or a few, favourite places to stock up. So we're looking for Sydney's best comic book stores, we'll line up a few possibilities, but we're really interested in what you think.

Kinokuniya may not be a comic book store, but it is a good place to start, especially for anyone who may feel a bit intimidated by your general comic book stores. The bookstore originated in Japan, and their Sydney store can be found on level 2 of The Galeries. They definitely have the best collection of graphic novels and comics than any other bookstore, and you'll also find figurines here. Real comic book fans are likely to know better places to go, but if you're just after a casual read then Kinokuniya could easily be your favourite.

Kings Comics have been selling comics around Sydney since 1986, and their store on Pitt Street has a huge range. As well as getting all of the usuals from comic books to figurines, Kings Comics also offer a few other perks. For $25 you can become a Kings Premier Club member, and you'll receive 10% of all Kings products that aren't already on sale. Kings Comics also hold signings, and you can check out their website to see who will be in the store next to sign their works.

Then there is the Comic Shop on George Street, who lay claim to the largest collection of 'Bowen Marvel busts and statues from DC Direct'. Of course they also have lots of Comics, but the Comic Shop believe that to have the best comic experience you need to wear, play, and watch, anything comic related that you can get your hands on. They also have a great collection of bobble heads. They have comic books and more, but is it all enough?

There are plenty of other stores, and we couldn't even hope to touch on them all. If you're sitting there slack jawed because we've missed out on Sydney's best comic book store, now is your chance. Leave your thoughts in the comments letting us know which store you think is the best.
