The most amazing schnitty is in Sydney for under $15
Consistency, is key to being labelled one of Sydney's best anything. Sadly, due to changes in ownership and staff, two years is usually the lifespan of a great menu item in Sydney. Not this place.
I've been coming here for over 10 years. I once picked a mate, from being out of Sydney for years. When I asked what he wanted to eat, he replied "I'm craving a really good schnitzel" and I knew exactly where to go. Chelsea Hotel in Chatswood, hands down has the best chicken schnitzel and it's only $11.
I'd pay top dollar for this schnitzel and still call it the best. Here are 5 reason's why... 1. It's crispy on the outside and still moist on the inside.
Even when covered in sauce, the bread crumbs are still golden brown. They always cook their schnitzel to perfection, leaving the chicken succulent and tasty.
Too many times I've paid for a over cooked or soggy piece of chicken someone called a schnitzel.
2. It's filling.
Served is one massive chicken breast. Full flavoured chicken and no signs of a tight chef. Along with your choice of crispy pub style chips or creamy mash. The only reason why you'd need seconds is because it tastes so good and gluttony has prevailed.
3. Did I mention, it's only $11!
This is not a typo Sydney's best chicken schnitzel is only $11. If you spent an hour making a schnitzel dish, the reality is you could have worked and earned more money. Even still, anyone would struggle to come close to creating something as tasty as this.
4. It's quick.
I have NEVER waited more than 10 minutes for this schnitzel. In fact, I went here last night I had it in 7 minutes.
5. Consistently amazing
The mate who I picked up from the airport was so impressed that we go there every year to catch up. Not one time have I been dissatisfied.
Sydney's Best Chicken Schnitzel, only $11
Chelsea's chicken schnitzel does not require any condiments. However the mushroom sauce, containing real mushrooms, is full flavoured and creamy. The body of this sauce doesn't overpower the chicken. So the sauce is great but not necessary.
Put it this way, I have a chicken schnitty at least once a fortnight, all over Sydney and this one is by far the best.
