There are so many cheesecakes around, that there is an option for everyone. You can choose from baked, or unbaked, and from a whole range of flavours like lemon, berry, Oreo, and more. So we've decided, since this is such a popular dish, we really should get to the bottom of finding Sydney's best. Some of our writers have already discovered some delicious options, but if you know one that takes the cake, make sure you tell us all about it.

The Raspberry and Pistachio Cheesecake from the Victoria Room Tea Salon comes from a place of many cakes. While there are plenty of sweet treats on offer, a cheesecake fan will find it hard to go past this delicious bite. The texture is soft and moist, and the flavour is just delicious. Who knew that raspberry and pistachio could form such a great creation. Just in case you were worried you weren't indulging enough, it comes with a dollop of creme fraiche.

One of our writers thinks that Paticceria Papa can claim to have the best cheesecake in Sydney. Their Baked Ricotta Cheesecake is the pick of the mix, and you'll get a good sized serving, that is easily enough to fill you up. If you love a good cheesecake, but don't like them too sweet, then you're in luck, this cheesecake is just right, and would satisfy those on either side of the sweetness camp.

Perhaps instead you agree that Zellini's do a mighty fine cheesecake. They have a few options on their menu for you to choose from, and they make a great ending to your meal. They are unbaked cheesecakes, which can sometimes be a bit lighter, perfect if you've already enjoyed a tasty dinner. Try indulgences like the white chocolate cheesecake or the berry cheesecake.

We know that cheesecake lurks on menus all over Sydney, from cafes, to restaurants, to fancy patisseries. While we know we've found some good one, there must be plenty more out there.

So have any of our writers hit the nail on the head, or do you know a cheesecake that needs a mention? Let us know in the comments your thoughts on Sydney's cheesecake scene, and keep the recommendations coming for any other worthy contenders. If you're not too sure, we give you permission to indulge a little, and report back with your results.
