Brownies come in many forms, but one thing generally remains stable, chocolate. Warm and gooey, or rich and chewy, delicious brownies can do wonders to your tastebuds and can be the perfect indulgence.
Unlike the rise in other sweet foods, like macarons and cupcakes, brownies don't have their own dedicated stores. Instead brownie hunters must search display cabinets and dessert menus for these slices of heaven. So to make it bit easier for everyone involved, we want to know where you think we can find Sydney's best brownies. Let us in on your secrets and share the love for these tasty treats.
Some Sydneysiders who are dedicated to brownies are The Brownie Farm, and if you want different brownie flavours, they've got them. On top of delicious classic chocolate brownies they also sell Raspberry and White Chocolate, Peppermint, and Orange Chocolate. They also have Gluten Free brownies for those who can't always indulge in these treats. You can order their brownies for events, or even just for your own personal enjoyment, it is just a pity that they're not found in a quaint little cafe where you can sit back and relax.
If you are looking for a cafe that does a mean brownie, then why not check out Tripod Cafe in Darlinghurst. You can enjoy one of their brownies with a tasty milkshake or smoothie, or have it as a treat after choosing something off their breakfast menu. Sit inside or outside, and enjoy a bit of atmosphere with your serving of brownie.
Good things can also be found at bakery cafes around Sydney. Enjoy the homestyle brownies at Sweet Infinity Bakery in Woolloomooloo, the Sydney suburb filled with more double letters than you can poke a stick at. Or try St. Malo Bakery in Crows Nest, you'll love every bite of one of their moist brownies. We're sure there are some great bakeries all over Sydney churning them out.
Another great place where they could be found, would be at some of Sydney's great markets. Maybe someone at the EQ Village Markets sells organic brownies that reach all your senses, or maybe there is a home baker that heads to the Paddington Markets every Saturday with delicious brownies in tow. We don't have any particular examples to share, but that is where we hope you'll come in.

Just a couple of days ago, I had the pleasure of eating one of the finest brownies I've ever tasted! Apart from the lunch that we ate which was 10/10 (Blue Eyed Cod + prawn linguini), decided to try one of the brownies they had displayed, just because it LOOKED delicious. I took it home with me and devoured it along with a cup of tea and I've never enjoyed a brownie so much. Light & moist, just the right amount of chocolate & nuts and NOT TOO SWEET... just scrumptious.... and the place where i found this amazing delicacy? YUGA CAFE, 172 St. Johns Rd. Glebe... here's the link...
