Over the month of August and some of September, Sydney residents are in for a treat in Glebe with the Sydney Teapot Show. Local group, the Clayworkers, are holding their 29th Annual Teapot Show of quirky craftsmanship. The Clayworkers have been together since 1982, and are a non-for-profit group of potters. They hold this show all over Australia with designs that range from functional to ridiculous!

The gallery, located in Glebe on the corner of St Johns Road & Darghan street, was created & thrives still to this day due to the dedication and excitement of it's members in creating these gorgeous masterpieces. They strive to offer an exciting & welcoming experience to all at this years Teapot Show & every other day of the year.

The thing that makes Clayworkers work so unique is the vibrant people who create it. They thrive of not only the gallery and the chance to exhibit their work, but the members of the cohort who they associate with, learn from and enjoy their passion with.

The event runs from August 3rd until September 4th and is open from 10:30am until 5pm everyday. The opening night for purchases begins on a Friday the 5th August at 6pm. Then everyday after the 5th you are able to browse, speak to the creator of works and purchase your own piece of art. It will be overwhelming by the plethora of teapots to browse from, so the clayworkers will give you a complementary cuppa while you find the perfect one for you.
