For one night only, the Sydney Symphony is making an appearance at the World Heritage listed Parramatta Park on Saturday 14 March. Presented by Parramatta Park Trust and the NSW Government, this fabulous free concert is one not to be missed. So grab your coolers, picnic blankets and all things yum and delicious to enjoy an evening under the stars.
The awesome program begins with Ravel's
Noble and Sentimental Waltzes followed by Berio's arrangement of Falla's
Seven Popular Spanish Songs. The rest of the program consists of
Ohne Sorgen! Polka by Johann Strauss,
Die Fledermaus: Overture by Johann Strauss II,
Giuditta: My lips they kiss so hot by Lehár and
Der Rosenkavalier: Suite by Richard Strauss. With Ward Stare as the conductor and Daniela Mack as the featured mezzo-soprano, this concert is guaranteed to be a fantastic one.
Time: Music starts at 8pm and you can grab a spot from 6:30pm
Food & Drink: BYO picnic and there will also be some food available for purchase. BYO alcohol but only if you're 18 .
