I am always looking out for new experiences, wherever I may find myself.
Event:

Fans have the chance to get up close with the reigning AFL Premiers, The Sydney Swans, at the 2013 Sydney Swans Fan Day on Sunday March 10. The annual event, which is presented by major partner Volkswagen, will take place at the Sydney Cricket Ground, between 10.00am and 1.00pm.

Throughout the day fans will also be able to develop their AFL skills at clinics, meet the Sydney Swans mascot Cyggy and enjoy the food stalls and drink stalls. There will be family friendly activities, including interactive games and activities run by Volkswagen.

You can get your face painted (in red and white, of course), buy Swans merchandise and get it signed by your favourite players in one of the autograph sessions, and even get up close with the 2012 Premiership Cup, perhaps even getting a photo with it too. There will be Sydney Swans and AFL inflatables, an appearance from the QBE Taronga Zoo-Mobile and John Longmire will be introducing the 2013 Sydney Swans players.

While this event is completely free and requires no booking, if you register your attendance you have the chance to be chauffeured to the Sydney Swans Fan Day by the players themselves. Later, you will also get to experience a behind-the-scenes tour of the Swans training facilities. Two runners up and their friends will also get to join the winner on this tour.

If you want to enter the competition, click here. You will be required to provide your details and explain (in 25 words or less) what makes you proud to be a fan of the Sydney Swans.
