I am always looking out for new experiences, wherever I may find myself.
On Thursday January 17, a free nature presentation on Sydney's snakes and reptiles will be held in the Cove Room of Lane Cove Civic Centre from 6.30pm. The kid-friendly presentation will feature a live reptile display with snakes and other reptiles that can be found in the Sydney region.

A reptile handler will also be educating those who attend on reptiles in general. You will learn what to do (and what not to do) when you come across them. Some first aid education will also be included in the evening's presentation. Snacks and refreshments will be provided too.

Bookings are essential if you would like to attend this event. They can be made by calling Lane Cove Council on 9911 3583 or by clicking here.

Sydney Snakes and Other Reptiles is part of the monthly Evening Nature Presentation series by Lane Cove Council. If you miss this month's event, or decide you want to attend another talk, look out for Allergic Reactions Provoked by Tick Bites on Thursday February 21 and The Powerful Owl Project on Thursday March 14. Information on these presentations (and other monthly Nature Presentations up till June 2013) can be found on the Lane Cove Council website.
