Science Geeks will feed their minds with a super dose of Science at this year's
. The program has just been released - Commencing on
Thursday 11 August until Sunday 21st August across venues in Sydney, the program will be jam packed with interactive fun.
Spoilt for choice with 11 days of hands-on Science workshops, Exhibitions, discussion panels and loads of family fun.
Kids will love learning all things science, electromagnetic fields, human forensic science techniques, maybe a few robots.
Engage their young minds with science.
Encourage their creative thoughts to thrive and who knows what direction their life might take. Good science is fun, playful and at times messy, so get in amongst it with some of the world's leading names in science.
Dr Alan Duffy is one of Australia's hottest scientists and this year's Festival Ambassador will present
CERN's Large Hadron Collider . Also appearing is the British physicist
Professor Brian Cox answering questions about the
journey to deep Space . Plenty of discussion at expert panels led by Genspace co-founder and director, New York's
Dr Ellen Jorgensen will provide
insights into Biohacking . Of course a special appearance from Australia's well known and loved,
Dr Karl Kruszelnicki will keep you all amazed.
Now in its second year, the
Sydney Science Festival is now in its second year. Brought to you by the
Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences (MAAS), in collaboration with museums, galleries, universities, businesses, scientists, engineers and community organisations across greater Sydney. The exciting 11-day program will showcase over 100 events bringing Science to life and is part of
National Science Week.
