An event where country meets the city
Being Australia's largest event and the sixth largest in the world, the Sydney Royal Easter Show was first held in 1823, and today it still remains the biggest celebration of Australian culture, attracting over 800,000 people every year.

This historical event is where the "city meets the country", making it the perfect family-friendly event way to celebrate Easter and have a great day out with non-stop entertainment.
The event will feature an agricultural show, amusement park, fair, competitions, judging of livestock and produce, art and craft, activities, photography, cookery, shows, hands-on animal experiences, displays, firework display shows, carnival entertainment, interactive activities, and much more.
There will be evening entertainment for all ages too from thrilling horsemanship, mixed with dare-devils acts and other spectacular shows not to miss out on.

Reserve a seat at the Woolworths Kitchen for the latest products and recipes ready for you to try. Take the interactive workshop where you will learn about preparing seasonal produce, watch recipes being cooked and taste the end results. There will also be three creative classes for the kids to enjoy too.
The Man From Snowy River is a production which will deliver fresh surprises at the show.

The Grand Parade is an iconic show taking place since 1907 and this year it will feature three parades which will showcase Sydney Royal Competition winners, including animals, producers, champion woodchoppers, and future community leaders and for the first time in 65 years this event will be held at lunchtime (1pm on 11th April), so be sure not to miss out on this special event.
Other activities and events will include the Australian Citizenship Ceremony, the Footrot Seminar, the Great Backyard Pumpkin Challenge where you get to see the colourful, quirky and delightful entries in the challenge, including the outrageous celebrity look-alikes, which will certainly bring on a giggle or two.
The World Bazaar will transport you into the international market with mysterious treasures, exotic African handicrafts and unique curios, Chinese massage, funky jewellery, unique clothing, Kenyan exotic tea blends and much more.

If you enjoy arts and crafts then be sure to check out the displays showcasing throughout the Show as well as interactive activities to enjoy. While the kids will love the many child-friendly activities and entertainment from pony rides, workshops, classes, entertainment, games and much more.
Check out the #7Studio to meet your favourite Channel Seven stars and to get a selfie at the Studio. There will also be opportunities to go behind-the-scenes as you get behind the 7News desk to record your very own update, or enjoy the many activities that Seven will have to offer.
There will be an abundance of animal encounters from the animal farm petting zoo opportunities to walking an alpaca, enjoying the dog and cat shows, animal competitions, displays and acts.

Step back into time as you boogie your way with the Starliners presenting Girl Power from the 60s!
Jump around in the ice-cream world jumping castle, or maybe try one of the thrilling amusement and carnival rides and games. There will be no shortage of amusement fun at this event!
No Easter event will be complete without a visit from the Easter Bunny and at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, the Cadbury Bunny will be making an appearance as he celebrates the magic of Easter with singing, dancing and games.

The event will showcase auctions, wood chopping, whip cracking, Looney Tunes Circus performances, fashion parades, kid-sized working farm, Australian wildlife displays, flower and garden displays and pavilion, live music throughout the show and much more.
There will be an array of things to do, see and experience, making this event a must add to the calendar!
If you will be arriving by car, do note that there will be a high demand for parking. Pre-booked parking will be available and can be done on the website.
There will be a flat rate of $25 per car/ per day.
With every Showlink ticket public transport fees will be included, so no need to fork out extra dollars to get to the event.
There will be extra trains running throughout the event.
