Sydney Pregnancy, Babies and Children Expo 2013
Time to pack those nappy bags (for those who have little ones of their own) and shove those prams into the car and head down to Sydney's Pregnancy, Babies and Children Expo. If you're expecting or planning a family, then you definitely want to come this year's e Expo, on once again at the Sydney Showground Exhibition Centre, Sydney Olympic Park with doors opening from Friday.
The expo is a one stop shop, so to speak, for all your questions, and curiosity around the world of parenting, kids, babies and pregnancy. Plus all your favourite brands, companies and organisations will be under the one roof. You'll find anything from children/baby furniture, clothing, education and childcare resources to baby photography resources and more. Just have a look at the extensive expo exhibitor listing here.
Featured Areas Worth Checking There are so many exhibitors, you'll be coming back for days to get around the entire place, but here are some of the key areas you sure won't want to miss;
Meet the Tresillian Nurses Centre For the first time at the Expo, you get to speak to qualified Tresillian nurses who are experts who will be able to assist you with questions you might have. Tresillian Family Care is Australia's largest child and family health organisation providing advice to families. Tresillian assists thousands of families and has an amazing history that dates back to 1918.
Whether you're already a parent or expecting your first child, a Tresillian nurse can offer you invaluable tips and advice on how to prepare for your baby and what to expect in the first few weeks after childbirth and at different stages of your young one's life.
Ever wanted to let your darling husband have a feel of what being pregnant feels like? Well you can, with the Empathy Vest which is available for expecting fathers to try out. This provides a great way for them to gain an insight into how heavy a pregnant belly can be. This is all of course proudly supported by Tresillian.
Free Family Entertainment Did we mention free family entertainment? That's right, take a look here for a listing of some of the great line up of entertainment for whole family, not to mention various free activities for the kids scattered throughout the expo hall, including the Bubbalicious Ballpits and Toddler Kindy Gymbaroo activities.
This last one is very important, and it's not quite within the halls of the expo, but definitely worth a mention. The expo this year is providing FREE vehicle child restraint checks for all visitors. You can view the car park map here
These are the times checks will be conducted (subject to change). Please visit their website for up to date information here
