[SECTION]Sydney Open - A Day of Urban Exploration[/SECTION]
Sydney Open an event commencing on Sunday 1st November 2015. This event is organised by Sydney Living Museums and will be opening the doors of the city for the 11th time to allow Sydney Pass holders exclusive access to exploring over 50 of Sydney's most interesting buildings and spaces. They will be conducting a diverse program of events, exhibitions, walks and tours to engage the public to experience the design and beauty of these amazing buildings. Taking you on a journey through the Sydney CBD, Ultimo and Chippendale.
A plethora of fascinating buildings will be open to public, including Harry Siedler's Australia Square, BVN, Sydney Grammar School, Lucy Osburn Nightingale Museum, Hong Kong House, Sydney's Customs House, 8 Chifley Square, 50 Martin Place, The Mint, City of Sydney Fire Station, AMP, Culwulla Chambers and the QVB Dome are just a few of 50 of Sydney's best loved buildings and spaces.
Many of these buildings are usually off limits to the public or have areas that will only be open to pass holders.
Sydney Living Museums is the Historic House Trust of NSW. They manage and maintain 12 of the city's most historic and important buildings, gardens and museums and also have access to many other prominent and interesting buildings in Sydney through the Sydney Open event.

If you purchase your tickets before the 16th October you can go in the draw to win and be one of 100 Winners of Sydney Open Golden Ticket with access to the most exclusive limited capacity places.
A city pass - $49 Adults. Members $45
Concession and Sydney Living Museum members - $44 each
26yrs and under - $35
Groups of 4 or more - $40 each ticket
If you have a disability and need information on access to buildings you can call Sydney Open 1300 448 849 closer to the event for more detailed information for each building.
It would be wise to
purchase your city pass tickets prior to the day as only a limited amount will be available directly from Sydney Museums.
As there is so much to see, it is a good idea to plan your itinerary on what you would like to see and take a break during the day to have lunch somewhere.

[SECTION]Good tips to remember[/SECTION]
1. Plan your day before you leave home.
2. Wear your wristband that comes with your ticket purchase, it is your ticket and key to entry.
3. Wear comfortable shoes,bring a light weatherproof jacket in case of poor weather conditions,
4. Backpack with water and snacks, also any medications if you require them. Think about where you might stop for lunch.
5. Download the Sydney Open App for your iPhone (This App hasn't been released yet so check closer to the event date)
6. Bring a big smile and enjoy what beauty and history Sydney has to offer.
