Hosted by Maximum Adventure, in conjunction with Cancer Council NSW, the Sydney Mud Run is an obstacle jumping, mud crawling, hill climbing adventure around the Sydney Equestrian Cross Country Course from the 2000 Olympics.
You will get wet, you will get muddy and you will have a ball while helping to raise money for this very worthy cause.

The Mud Run course consists of trail running, hill climbing, steeple chase jumps and mud crawling, as well as various type of obstacles and fun challenges.
According to the organisers "The mud pits are the consistency of pouring cream but not as yummy. You will need to crawl through them to make it to the finish."
Runners must be 12 years or over to participate. The course will be marked with brightly coloured markers for easy guidance and marshals will be positioned at various points along the way. The course is approximately 6km in length and it is estimated it will take you between half an hour to an hour to complete.
Wear some old clothes that you don't mind getting dirty and remember to bring a sense of humour, a pair of closed shoes that you won't mind throwing out at the end of the day and some friends and family to cheer you on.

Best fun I could ever imagine. Just the type of event that I would thrive in. I wouldnt get anywhere, but Id be quite happy playing in mud and puddles and would somehow get to the finish. Great to do with a group of friends.
