Tick off your New Year's resolution to get fit, start the year right, tour the beautiful northern beaches and raise money for charity at the first annual .

Run, jog, walk or stroll the spectacular course, approximately seven kilometres, from Dee Why to Manly that showcases the best of the Northern Beaches.

To cool off after the run and reap the benefits of cross training, you can dive into Australia's most famous and largest ocean swim the 28th annual Sydney Morning Herald Cole Classic the next day.



To help those who are less fortunate, you can create a personalised fundraising page for your favourite charity and spread the word via email to your family and friends for support.

The Sun Run commences at 6.45am and will start at The Strand in Dee Why and finish on The Steyne in Manly with all finishers to receive a commemorative medal.
Enter here to raise $50 for charity for the chance to win a Mizuno prize pack valued at $500, which includes a pair of Mizuno running shoes.

The race is open to all ages, the categories are split into females and males from 12 and under to 70 and over. You can also enter in a team with friends, relatives or work colleagues, with a minimum of three competitors.
