Be sure to dress up for the parade and party
Mardi Gras Sydney
Visual and performing arts and community and social events are currently happening as part of the 35th Annual Sydney Mardi Gras Festival, however there is still time to get ready for the two forthcoming main party time events.

The Mardi Gras Parade happens on Saturday March 2nd before the big 'Gay Party', Mardigrasland, with more glitz and glamour than you could imagine.

Tickets are still available for the parade; for premium viewing in style at the Glamstand. Tickets range from $140 to $185 depending on your reserve choice. Noted as the most glamorous way to enjoy the parade, concession prices are also available

Of course you can go without tickets and just be present amongst the crowds by losing yourself in a spot somewhere, anywhere that you can find and hope that you get to see as much as possible.

The parade runs from 7.45pm until 10pm.

Following the Parade is the 'MardiGrasland', the wild sexy and electric experiences of the 'official party', beginning at 10pm straight after the parade.

Tickets for this party are selling for $146 per person. Some of the confirmed talent includes:
Heather Small (M People) - Delta Goodrem - The Presets - DJ Crystal Pepsi (aka Jake Shears) - Bimbo Jones - Wayne G Garcon Garcon - Hi Fashion - Stereogamous Feat. Shaun J Wright - Zoe Badwi - Adam Love - Alex Taylor - Beth Yen - Dan Murphy - David Barlow - Dom Da Sousa - DJ Du Jour - Feenixpawl - Frankie Shin - Jim Jam - Johny Blue Boy - Kitty Glitter - Matt Vaughn - Mike Kelly - Sista P - Sveta

It's easy to attend if you are a local and from Sydney, however there is still time to make arrangements to get yourself there. Of course, most accommodation is at a 'premium on parade night', so expect to pay a little more than you normally would.

Be sure to dress for the occasion. Costumes are cheap and fun. Visit your local bargain store or costume place and grab your bits.
