So much to see and do at the Sydney Boat Show
I always find boat shows fascinating! The different sizes and layouts and the sheer opulence that is so often found in a boat nowadays are a sight to behold.
Now you can go to one of the boat shows located in the coastal area with beautiful beaches. Sydney is going to be the home of the Sydney International Boat Show, one of the most reputable marine events of the world!
An interesting fact is that since 1968, there have been more than 3 million sailing lovers and general public attending and discovering this stunning event.
The 2019 SIBS will not just be limited to a boat display. The event wants visitors to see a more amazing experience and find out useful knowledge. During the five days, from 1st to 5th August 2019, boating safety experts will be there to instruct you on how to make your boat safer. You can learn more about your underwater skills with the diving trial.
It will be held at Darling Harbour, Sydney, International Convention Centre, Sydney 2 levels and the event deck. The halls will be open from 10.00 am to 7.00 pm and the marina will also be open at these times. This is truly a spectacular harbour location adjacent to Sydney's CBD!
There will also be outdoor food and drink as well as that spectacular view across the city which is there for you to enjoy at this event.
However, the most important part of the event cannot be missed! Seawind will bring you the Seawind 1160 Lite and Seawind 1260 to the event.
Come join and let us share more about these amazing models which will be on display here.
Joining the Sydney International Boat Show for another year is the Australia International Dive Expo. At this exhibition, there will be all the gear and information needed to enjoy diving as a sport, for business, research, conservation or recreation. There will be an on-site trial pool which will give you the chance to experience scuba diving under the guidance of professional instructors. There will also be dive gear workshops which are a great place for newbies to learn about the equipment that you would need to start diving, or for experienced divers wanting to learn how to keep their gear well maintained.
FISHING FOCUS Game fishing multi-world-record holder Tim Simpson leads this year's fishing masterclasses. He will share his tips on his game fishing success. Steve Starling returns to talk about fishing in estuaries.
Also on stage, Justin Duggan has all the information on landing big fish with light tackle. There will be several others who will give you tips on fishing and this should be a fun event.
The Supertank again returns where Brett Thomson and Michael Cook present live fish. You will be chasing a variety of lures right in front of your eyes. Learn about the best gear and techniques while actually seeing how well they work.
THE EVENT DECK
The outdoor Event Deck on the top exhibition level is where the purpose-built 35-metre pool hosts the water demonstrations of marine products.
You will see and actually be able to go onboard kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, pedal boards and other unique vessels on the water.
There will also be powerful off-shore power boats which will also be on display, as well as speed craft from Ski Racing NSW, iconic Perry surf boats, and an array of tinnies.
And for the children, they can enjoy free bumper boat rides, while the Event Deck is also home to the outdoor food and beverage bar. While you are relaxing here, there is a fantastic view right across the City.
