The Sydney Hills Christmas Sky Show returns to The Hills this summer, with more lights, more snow and a more dazzling display than ever before.
The only Christmas event of its kind in Australia, the Christmas Sky Show is reminiscent of Fremont Street, Las Vegas and has become a popular festive tradition for NSW families.
This year's event will kick off on Saturday 3rd December with a special launch event and run nightly through to Monday 26th December 2016 (with the exception of Christmas Day when it will be closed).
The dynamic light display includes two animated light stories displayed on a 40 metre long LED banner stretching along Castle Hill Main Street. Each festive story will be accompanied by light and sound effects, and of course snow!
The attraction is also conveniently located on Castle Hill Main Street adjacent to the Castle Towers piazza, which offers a variety of food retailers - why not meet for dinner beforehand – or grab a coffee or a sweet treat before the festivities begin!
Entry is FREE and there will be local entertainment from 7pm. Show 1 will run from 8:30pm-9:15pm and Show 2 from 9:30pm-10:15pm.
The Christmas Sky Show celebrates the spirit of Christmas and brings friends and families together to sing and dance the night away and share a truly unmissable experience.
This year's Sky Show launch on Saturday 3rd December will include performances from local musicians, performance schools and street entertainers, along with kid's activities, twilight markets by The Designer Markets, pop-up stalls from a selection of Summer Series event partners including the Sydney Hills Outdoor Cinema, Lil Miss Collins and Sydney Thunder plus a special visit from Santa!
Castle Hill Main Street is located outside the Castle Towers Piazza, Old Northern Road, Castle Hill NSW 2154. Ample parking is available onsite, plus there is direct access to public transport.
Bring the family, do the Christmas shopping, have dinner and enjoy the Christmas Sky Show, thanks to the Hills Shire Council.
