On the 25th of November Sydney Harbour will host a special moment in maritime history. Cruise line P and O Australia will bring five ships from its fleet of Australian based cruise ships, to gather on the one day in the harbour. This is the first time any five cruise ships from one company line have ever been in the harbour at the same time. It will be a day of celebration, glamour and lots of partying. P and O's newest ships, the Pacific Aria and the Pacific Eden, will be on their maiden voyages for this event. Even for those not on board, the sight will be amazing for the people of Sydney and will draw many onlookers to the harbour.

For entertainment on board, each ship will have its own guest star as well as many other acts and D.J.s spinning the dance moves. Another entertainment highlight will be the Bianco White Party where each guest on board will be asked to wear white clothing. With all that sunshine and dazzling white up on top deck, sunglasses and a hat will be must have accessories. Come nightfall a spectacular fireworks display will be held over the harbour with the best vantage point for all on each ship to have fantastic view of the fireworks show. No more bustling through the crowds and waiting at your spot to see some fireworks on the harbour. Afterwards just stroll to one of the bars or nightclubs and dance the night away. Now that is one great night out.

The weather in Sydney at this time will be absolutely gorgeous, before the strong heat of summer, yet nice enough for being up on the pool decks, strolling on the promenade, and swimming in the many pools. And when you need to relax after all that dancing and photo taking, grab a deck chair and chill out or simply lap up the good life in the hot tub. All meals and entertainment on board are included in your fare.

It would make an ideal getaway before the silly season starts, and a fantastic venue to mingle with work colleagues at a pre Christmas function. Besides, it's almost December, so maybe you can mention it to your boss. Groups of friends on a budget can go with a quad share making the cruise a very cheap break away. You will need to check the age limits as most cruise ships now request one person in each stateroom be over the age of 21 years.
